NGA is an independent private certification and integrity-review body. It does not exercise police, court or sovereign powers and does not replace a national regulator.

Where verified evidence indicates a material breach, NGA may preserve the evidence and submit a documented report to the relevant game provider, aggregator, payment or critical supplier, or competent governmental authority. A referral is shown in an NGA record only after it has actually been made.
